February Construction Update

As the weather turns warmer, I have to admit that we’re getting pretty anxious over at the brewery.  But, there’s still plenty of work to be done, and work on the buildout during the month of February has moved us ever closer to brewing that first batch of beer.  Aah, beer…

So, here’s a look at some of that progress we’ve made at the brewery those last few weeks.

In our last entry, I posted some pics of the boiler room, mill room, and lab getting framed out and dry-walled.  Since that update, the boiler and mill room have been finished up with a fresh coat of paint…

And that separation between the brewery and the tap room – here’s a pic from the brewery side, all framed up with an added splash of the Rally Cap colors!

And a fresh epoxy coating on the brew pad…

In the taproom area, spaces are being defined and a lot of drywall is being hung.  Walls are forming everywhere…in the restroom hallway, above the main entrance, and the actual tap room itself.  Take a look at how the space is coming together.

Rest assured!  We will even have a place to serve drinks, with the bar recently being framed out as well.

As you can tell, it was a great month of February for us at Rally Cap, as we took huge steps towards becoming an operating brewery.  There’s still an awful lot on the to do list before we open – things like receiving equipment, securing all of our licenses, decorating the place, and oh yeah – brewing beer, but we’re getting closer and look forward to sharing more milestones with you all soon!
